Mark 9:14	When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them.

Mark 9:15	As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.

Mark 9:16	"What are you arguing with them about?"   he asked.

Mark 9:17	A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech.
	무리 중의 하나가 대답하되 선생님 말 못하게 귀신 들린 내 아들을 선생님께 데려왔나이다
Mark 9:18	Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not."

Mark 9:19	"O unbelieving generation,"   Jesus replied,     "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you?   Bring the body to me."
	대답하여 이르시되     믿음이 없는 세대여 내가 얼마나 너희와 함께 있으며 너희에게 참으리요   그들을 내게로 데려오라   하시매   ● put up with...을 참다(endure)
Mark 9:20	So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the body into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

Mark 9:21	Jesus asked the boy's father,     "How long has he been like this?"   "From childhood," he answered.
	예수께서 그 아버지에게 물으시되     언제부터 이렇게 되었느냐   하시니 이르되 어릴 때부터니이다
Mark 9:22	It has often thrown him into the fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
	귀신이 그를 죽이려고 불과 물에 자주 던졌나이다 그러나 무엇을 하실 수 있거든 우리를 불쌍히 여기사 도와 주옵소서
Mark 9:23	"'If you can'?"   said Jesus.     "Everything is possible for him who believes."
	예수께서 이르시되     할 수 있거든이 무슨 말이냐   믿는 자에게는 능히 하지 못할 일이 없느니라   하시니
Mark 9:24	Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

Mark 9:25	When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil spirit.     "You deaf and mute spirit,"   he said,     "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."

Mark 9:26	The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like corpse that many said, "He is dead."

Mark 9:27	But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
	예수께서 그 손을 잡아 일으키시니 이에 일어서니라
Mark 9:28	After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"
	집에 들어가시매 제자들이 조용히 묻자오되 우리는 어찌하여 능히 그 귀신을 쫓아내지 못하였나이까
Mark 9:29	He replied,     "This kind can come out only by prayer."
	이르시되     기도 외에 다른 것으로는 이런 종류가 나갈 수 없느니라   하시니라
Mark 9:30	They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know where they were.
	● 그 곳을 떠나 갈릴리 가운데로 지날새 예수께서 아무에게도 알리고자 아니하시니
Mark 9:31	because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them,     "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.   They will kill him, and after three days he will rise."
	이는 제자들을 가르치시며 또     인자가 사람들의 손에 넘겨져 죽임을 당하고 죽은 지 삼 일만에 살아나리라   는 것을 말씀하셨기 때문이더라   ● betray〔〕 ①(국가.동지 등을)적에게 팔다◈beray one's country to the enemy적에게 조국을 팔다 ②배반하다 ◈betray one's wife(husband) 바람피우다 ③(비밀을)누설하다 ◈betray a secret to a person ...에게 비밀을 누설하다
Mark 9:32	but they did not understand what he meant and were afraid to ask him about it.
	그러나 제자들은 이 말씀을 깨닫지 못하고 묻기도 두려워하더라
