John 18:12	Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus. They bound him
	● 이에 군대와 천부장관 유대인의 아랫사람들이 예수를 잡아 결박하여
John 18:13	and brought him first to Annas [|ʌnəs], who was the father -in-law of Caiaphas [káiəfəs, kéi-], the high priest that year.
	먼저 안나스에게로 끌고 가니 안나스는 그 해의 대제사장인 가야바의 장인이라
John 18:14	Caiaphas was the one who had advised the Jews that it would be good if one man died for the people.
	가야바는 유대인들에게 한 사람이 백성을 위하여 죽는 것이 유익하다고 권고하던 자러라
John 18:15	Simon Peter and another disciple were following Jesus. Because this disciple was known to the high priest, he went with Jesus into the high priest's courtyard,

John 18:16	but Peter had to wait outside at the door. The other disciple, who was known to the high priest, came back, spoke to the girl on duty there and brought Peter in.

John 18:17	"You are not one of his disciples, are you?" the girl at the door asked Peter. He replied, "I am not."
	문 지키는 여종이 베드로에게 말하되 너도 이 사람의 제자 중 하나가 아니냐 하니 그가 말하되 나는 아니라 하고
John 18:18	It was cold, and the servants and officials stood around a fire they had made to keep warm. Peter also was standing with them, warming himself.

John 18:19	Meanwhile, the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching.
	● 대제사장이 예수에게 그의 제자들과 그의 교훈에 대하여 물으니
John 18:20	"I have spoken openly to the world,"  Jesus replied.    "I always taught in synagogues or at the temple, where all the Jews   come together. I said nothing in secret.
	예수께서 대답하시되    내가 드러내 놓고 세상에 말하였노라 모든 유대인들이 모이는 회당과 성전에   서 항상 가르쳤고 은밀하게는 아무 것도 말하지 아니하였거늘
John 18:21	Why question me? Ask those who heard me. Surely they know what I said."
	어찌하여 내게 묻느냐 내가 무슨 말을 하였는지 들은 자들에게 물어 보라   그들이 내가 하던 말을 아느니라
John 18:22	When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby struck him in the face. "Is this the way you answer the high priest?" he demanded.
	이 말씀을 하시매 곁에 섰던 아랫사람 하나가 손으로 예수를 쳐 이르되 네가 대제사장에게 이같이 대답하느냐 하니   ● demand [dimǽnd] 요구하다.강력히 묻다.따지다
John 18:23	"If I said something wrong,"   Jesus replied,    "testify as to what is wrong. But if I spoke the truth, why did you   strike me?"
	예수께서 대답하시되    내가 말을 잘못하였으면 그 잘못한 것을 증언하라 바른 말을 하였으면 네가   어찌하여 나를 치느냐  하시더라
John 18:24	Then Annas sent him, still bound, to Caiaphas[káiəfəs, kéi-] the high priest.
	안나스가 예수를 결박한 그대로 대제사장 가야바에게 보내니라
John 18:25	As Simon Peter stood warming himself, he was asked, "You are not one of his disciples, are you?" He denied it, saying, "I am not."
	● 시몬 베드로가 서서 불을 쬐더니 사람들이 묻되 너도 그 제자 중 하나가 아니냐 베드로가 부인하여 이르되 나는 아니라 하니
John 18:26	One of the high priest's servants, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off,challenged him, "Didn't I see you with him in the olive grove?"
	대제사장의 종 하나는 베드로에게 위를 잘린 사람의 친척이라 이르되 네가 그 삶과 함께 동산에 있는 것을 내가 보지 아니하였느냐   ● challenge [ʧǽlindʒ]     (n)도전.문제.난제     (v)도전하다.이의를 제기하다.수하하여 불러 세우다.자극하다.        (정당성.가치 등을)조사하다.의심하다
John 18:27	Again Peter denied it, and at that moment a rooster began to crow.
	이에 베드로가 또 부인하니 곧 닭이 울더라   ● crow [krou]     (n)까마귀(=raven).수탉 울음소리(같은 소리).환성       ▶The crow thinks her own bird fairest, too 까마귀의 눈에도 제 새끼가 제일 곱다     (v)(특히 이른 새벽에)'꼬끼오' 하고 울다
