Matthew 12:1 (마태복음)	At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them.
	그 때에 예수께서 안식일에 밀밭 사이로 가실새 제자들이 시장하여 이삭을 잘라 먹으니   * grainfield〔〕곡식밭 * Sabbath〔〕(the~)안식일 (유대교는 토요일,그리스도교는 일요일, 이슬람교는 금요일임)
Matthew 12:2 (마태복음)	When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, "Look! Your disciples are doing what it is unlawful on the Sabbath."

Matthew 12:3 (마태복음)	He answered,     "Haven't you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Matthew 12:4 (마태복음)	He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread--which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests.

Matthew 12:5 (마태복음)	Or haven't you read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent?
	또 안식일에 제사장들이 성전 안에서 안식을 범하여도 죄가 없음을 너희가 율법에서 읽지 못하였느냐   * desecrate〔〕의 신성을 더럽히다.(신성한 것을)속되게 쓰다
Matthew 12:6 (마태복음)	I tell you that one greater than the temple is here.

Matthew 12:7 (마태복음)	If you had known what these words mean 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,'you would not have condemned the innocent.

Matthew 12:8 (마태복음)	For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."

Matthew 12:9 (마태복음)	Going on from that place, he went up their synagogue,

Matthew 12:10 (마태복음)	and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, they asked him, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"

Matthew 12:11 (마태복음)	He said to them,     "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath,   will you not take hold of it and lift it out?

Matthew 12:12 (마태복음)	How much more valuable is a man than a sheep!   Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath."
	사람이 양보다 얼마나 더 귀하냐 그러므로 안식일에 선을 행하는 것이 옳으니라   하시고
Matthew 12:13 (마태복음)	Then he said to the man,     "Stretch out your hand."   So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other.

Matthew 12:14 (마태복음)	But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.

Matthew 12:15 (마태복음)	Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed him, and he healed all their sick,

Matthew 12:19 (마태복음)	He will not quarrel or cry out;   No one will hear his voice in the streets.

Matthew 12:20 (마태복음)	A bruised reed he will not break,   and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he leads justice to   victory.
